Job Description:

Earn $47,476 annually, plus 3 weeks vacation, 1- calendar holidays, 24 hours personal time, and up to 80 sick days.

The Cayuga Centers CNY TFFC Team is looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting hard to place youth in the foster care system. We wrap services around the youth, their family/kin/caregivers, and the foster parents to get a child home or to a permanent home as soon as possible. As a behavioral case planner, you will speak with foster parents daily, assist in creating treatment plans, understand and support the youths’ educational goals, and actively participate on the treatment team. Location: Auburn, NY/Cayuga County

Schedule: This is a full-time, 40 hour a week position with rotating on-call responsibilities. A flexible schedule is possible.

  • Become a primary support in helping foster parents and the youth foster a positive relationship and work towards permanency

  • Become an active treatment team member

  • Utilize a strengths-based and trauma informed treatment model to assist youth, families and foster parents

  • Demonstrate an inclusive practice both in the office and in the field to support a diverse and accepting culture

Experience and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Human Services related field OR Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services related field and a minimum of two years of experience with the Child Welfare field

  • Experience and passion for working with an interdisciplinary team

  • Experience with foster care system

  • Excellent communication, organizational, writing, and collaboration skills

  • Possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude needed to appreciate and encourage Diversity
