Job Description:

Earn $65,000/annually plus 160 hours vacation, 3 personal days off with pay, 10 paid holidays, 12 sick days and we offer medical insurance and a 401K. 

JOB OBJECTIVES:Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services provides overall management of the clinical model requirements. This includes a solution focused approach to supervision of clinicians working within all Florida locations. This staff member will maintain professionalism in all areas, including confidentiality. 

HOURS PER WEEK: Exempt

  • Regular hours vary-evenings and weekends
  • Must be able to flex schedule to meet program needs
  • On call required

FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee all treatment planning and delivery for program youth
  • Coordinate all clinical services within assigned programs
  • Provide oversight for the training of all new hires and interns
  • Provide supervision to clinical staff, ensuring that all staff members receive weekly, documented individual supervision which directly addresses performance and development plans, including training and growth opportunities.
  • Participate in training of all Behavioral Support staff and their respective treatment teams
  • Ensure patient centered and culturally sensitive practice
  • Provide mental health evaluations during mental health emergencies
  • Provide record keeping and documentation for all clinical and behavior support activities (case documentation)
  • Provide ongoing individual and group coaching sessions to staff for processing of complex cases and best practices. Provide mental health crisis intervention
  • Provide clinical expertise and be directly responsible for the management of clinical staff
  • Provide guidance & coaching to all clinicians during weekly staff meetings
  • Participate in training of all Clinicians and their respective treatment teams to ensure they are versed in the clinical approaches for working with foster families
  • Provide and coordinate all needed diagnostic services
  • Develop programs to build up and support the therapeutic milieu
  • Facilitate weekly department meetings
  • Provide record keeping and documentation for all clinical activities (case documentation)
  • Ability to work well with people from many cultures including recent immigrants, non-English speakers, and LGBTQ children
  • Ability to work with vendors and stakeholders to provide needed clinical services
  • Oversee and assist with completing reports, referrals, and other required documentation for each youth
  • Oversee and ensure the department is meeting and complying with agency, state and local mandates
  • Complete other duties as assigned

 

Experience and Skills:

  • Must be licensed in the state of Florida as a LCSW, LMFT or LMHC and a Qualified Clinical Supervisor
  • 5 years’ post graduate direct service delivery experience - required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising staff
  • Ability to teach competencies providing assessment and interventions to children with a history of trauma depression, and anxiety
  • Strong communication, collaboration and team building skills
  • Valid FL Driver’s License required
  • Ability to travel to other agency locations as required
  • MR/EHR experience preferred; Lauris, NETSMART
  • Assign cases and oversee clinical service delivery so that it is performed according to Cayuga Centers’ mission, policy, practices, procedures and treatment models.
  • Provide on-call support as required or scheduled.
