Job Description:
Earn $47,476/annually with 120 hours vacation, 3 personal days with
pay, 10 paid holidays, 12 paid sick days; and we offer medical
packages and a 401K.
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Foster Parent
Training and in cooperation with all other agency personnel, the
Foster Parent Trainer will facilitate foster parent training for the
agencies’ regional offices. This staff member will ensure that
required trainings are facilitated in an efficient, concise, and
professional manner. The Foster Parent Trainer will complete the
coordination, tracking, and logging of completed foster parent and
staff training as needed.
HOURS PER WEEK: Non-exempt
- Regular hours entail 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday; must be
flexible to meet program needs
- Evenings and weekends may be required
FUNCTIONS:
- Deliver virtual and stand-up/in-person training in a professional
and knowledgeable manner
- Facilitate training that is current and continuously updated to
meet the changing needs of the agency and its authorizing entities
- Team collaboration to coordinate foster parent trainings to meet
programmatic and agency needs
- Distribute training schedules/calendars to all foster parents via correspondence
- Inform foster parents of upcoming training via correspondence and
phone calls
- Ensure that foster parents are in compliance with pre-service and
mandated training required for licensing and re-licensing.
- File and track all training records prior to entry into LMS
- Maintain active written and verbal communication with supervisor
(i.e- work progress, encountered obstacles and immediate concerns)
- Flexibility with facilitating virtual and in-person training at
all agency locations
- Maintain Google Calendar up to date (i.e- scheduled training,
meetings and training tasks)
- Responsible for complying with rules and regulations governing
access to Protected Health Information under HIPAA. Access to
Protected Health Information is limited to the extent required to
perform responsibilities effectively and efficiently. No access
will be permitted unnecessarily. The essential job functions as
described, herein, dictate the level of access, use, and disclosure
of confidential information.
