Job Description:

Earn $45,000 annually with 120 hours vacation, 3 personal days with pay, 10 paid holidays, 12 paid sick days; and we offer medical packages and a 401K.

To assure quality and compliance with all agency, state, and federal regulatory requirements and standards. This includes but is not limited to evaluating and analyzing systems and recommending measures to strengthen processes to meet established quality standards.  Conduct case record reviews to ensure the highest level of quality of services. The position will report to the Director of Quality regarding any and all quality and compliance-related concerns. The position will be responsible for providing detailed recommendations to staff in order to improve compliance, treatment, and outcomes.

 

FUNCTIONS:

  • Complete case records and file reviews on agency programs and departments
  • Keep staff up to date on changes to record maintenance in their department
  • Keep up to date with the latest regulatory requirements, including Medicaid, Council on Accreditation (COA), etc.
  • Able to interpret policies and procedures to maintain record/file compliance
  • Create Quarterly Record Review reports and facilitating meetings with department heads
  • Utilize the Plan, Do, Check, Act framework
  • Report back to management different findings, including deadlines to meet corrective actions on record reviews
  • Teach best practices and case record requirements to all levels of staff

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience with continuous quality improvement systematic frameworks strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with OCFS, ACS and other relevant municipal and state agencies preferred
  • Experience with non-profit human and social services such as child welfare programs, including Family and Treatment Family Foster Care programs
  • Proven ability to analyze and evaluate trends in performance measures and processes to determine necessary steps of action 
  • Strong communication and writing skills with strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task while remaining highly organized.
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel, Publisher, and willingness to learn other platforms
  • Ability to handle confidential material and information in a responsible manner

 

HOURS PER WEEK: Non-Exempt

  • Regular hours entail 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
  • Must be flexible to meet program needs
