Job Description:

Earn $56,500/annually, plus 3 weeks vacation, 10 calendar holidays (Includes 1 floating holiday), 24 hours personal time, and 12 sick days a year

Support regional programs in their foster parent recruitment efforts by developing and implementing marketing plans to attract prospective foster parents. The Marketing Associate will create digital and print content and event materials. Seeking candidates to be based from our Auburn, NY location.

 Schedule: Non-Exempt

  • Regular hours 9:00am - 5:00pm or 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • Must be flexible to meet program needs


  • Develop marketing plan proposals based on market research while exploring social media, traditional media and grassroots marketing
  • Develop messaging and artwork for marketing plans and campaigns
  • Engage on relevant social media platforms
  • Research partnership and engagement opportunities within the communities we serve for foster parent recruitment
  • Coordinate the design and delivery of materials that support program events including advertising, giveaways, presentations, display items and handouts
  • Manage a library of communications assets for assigned regions

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Experience in marketing/communications and content creation
  • Experience with social media campaign development and implementation
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate across departments
  • Proactive and creative problem solver
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multitask
  • Spanish speaking a plus
