We are looking for an individual dedicated to reshaping the punitive culture of the Juvenile Justice System for youth through the use of restorative core values. These values involve empowerment, honesty, respect, healing, accountability, inclusiveness and problem solving. If these values speak to you this position will allow you to develop and grow beyond the case-load to advance your career as a learner and leader. By utilizing a strengths-based team approach together we will foster an environment of high impact to those that we serve. Do you feel you are an agent of change? If so, this could be a great fit for you!

  • Looking for an applicant who is willing to work with the youth/families at a time that suits the youth and family needs on a flexible schedule. This is a full-time, 40 hour a week position with rotating on-call responsibilities.

How you get to use your skills…

  • Contribute to systemic change by providing youth with an alternative to detention through the use of intensive case management, restorative justice efforts, Restorative Circles and Motivational Interviewing as an evidenced-based tool to implement long-term behavior change

  • Serve as a leader in collaborative efforts to develop an individualized service plan that will drive the provision of restorative case management services and deliver in a manner that is trauma informed and strengths-based

  • Guide youth to identify their motivators for change through the application of a non-punitive approach to the juvenile system

  • Demonstrate an inclusive practice both in the office and in the field to support a diverse and accepting culture

We can’t wait to be able to support you in your growing career. If this opportunity speaks to you, we look forward to hearing from you!
