Job Description:

The Administrative Secretary provides support to staff in all DE programs as assigned. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating, organizing and maintaining agency filing systems in accordance with all state and Federal oversight agencies, and agency policies and procedures, issuing correspondence, scheduling appointments, tracking data and compiling reports, gives support to staff in supervising, transporting and communicating with program youth as assigned. This staff member will maintain professionalism in all areas, including confidentiality.

Schedule: Full-time. Monday-Friday 9am-5pm


  • Organize, oversee and maintain the agency filing systems for all programs to ensure effective and accurate documentation of program activities
  • Collaborate with program leadership in the development and revision of case record keeping policies and procedures
  • Create systems to improve organization and processes around the office
  • Word processing of documents, reports as required
  • Organize projects and clerical duties as assigned
  • Schedule appointments
  • Assemble intake packets for all programs
  • Supervise/transport youth as assigned
  • Supervise program youth as assigned
  • Assist team during case emergencies

Experience and Skills:

  • High school diploma required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications
  • Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of clerical and office procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team context
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Valid DE Driver’s License & reliable vehicle required
