Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Compliance Director and in cooperation with all other agency personnel, the Assistant Director of Compliance will oversee the daily operations of CQI as related to the Compliance Manager and CQI Specialist duties.

HOURS PER WEEK:

  • Regular hours entail 40 hours per week
  • Must be available to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as assigned

FUNCTIONS:

  • Supervise CQI Compliance Manager and CQI Specialist
  • Brief program staff on new administrative directive memos issued by city and state. Ensure program is in compliance with regulations and procedures
  • Liaison to external stakeholders such ACS, OCFS, OMH, ORR, ACF, etc.
  • Tracking and monitoring of SCR reports/incidents
  • Conduct foster parent reviews as needed
  • Track and monitor progression of cases (ACS/UC) and provide on-going technical assistance to ensure permanency/reunification is achieved in a timely manner
  • Track, monitor and ensure ORR/ACF requests are completed in a timely fashion
  • Coordinate and monitor on-going audits for other departments (UC, Homefinding, TFFC, FFC, etc.)
  • Generate performance reports for Compliance Director, CQO and program leadership
  • Database maintenance ( Connections, PYA, LTS, Data Warehouse, PORTAL, STRIDE, CSEC)
  • Lead and facilitate training for program staff

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Word processing: Including responding to e-mails, composing letters, completing computerized documentation, transcribing minutes for meetings, etc.: This involves sitting at a computer for a minimum of 5 hours and could be up to 7 hours a day depending on program needs
  • Lifting of Agency file books - weighing approximately 6-8 lbs. each - 5 inch binders
  • Completing paperwork -Such as copying, stapling
  • Answering phones, processing mail, filing, lifting packages as needed
  • Walking up/down stairs

Experience and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in human services field and 1-3 years’ management experience;
  • required
  • Minimum of three years of progressive human services experience
  • Familiarity with OCFS, OMRDD, OMH, and other relevant municipal and state agencies
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications
  • Excellent communication and proven human relation skills
  • Experience in program development, training, community relations, CQI
  • Experience in outcome-based practice
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License required
