Job Description:

The Assistant Director of FFT will provide leadership and direction to several therapists, ensuring fidelity to FFT model. This position will also be responsible for managing utilization and responding to stakeholders and other referral sources.


  • Carry a caseload as assigned
  • Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement
  • Participate in all FFT training, supervision and consultation activities
  • Supervise staff, ensuring fidelity to FFT model
  • Assume case responsibility for the quality of work done by FFT therapists
  • Assist director in maintaining program responsiveness to the needs of families and the agencies we serve
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of FFT records and presents information to demonstrate program outcomes
  • Act as a liaison with other community agency personnel on an administrative level
  • Connections documentation may be required of certain program/counties

Schedule: Full-time. Utilize a flex schedule. Evening availability required. On call required.

Experience and Skills:

  • Master’s degree with licensure in Social Work, Counseling or a related Human Services field
  • Two years of experience providing home-based child and family services required
  • Two years of experience providing FFT strongly preferred
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential material in a responsible manner
  • Valid DE Driver’s License
  • Vehicle required: Must be safe and dependable
