Job Description:

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain and administer accounts receivable for ACS.

FUNCTIONS:

  • Billing of Accounts Receivable:
    • Perform billing for ACS TFFC and FFC
    • Perform weekly billing for ACS
    • Make copies and calculate totals for miscellaneous charge backs for billing.
    • Prepares tracking forms for Agency utilization.

  • Attend required training
  • Able to track movements
  • Ability handle confidential materials
  • Read required books.
  • Responsible for complying with rules and regulations governing access to Protected Health Information under HIPAA. Access to Protected Health Information is limited to the extent required to perform responsibilities effectively and efficiently. No access will be permitted unnecessarily. These essential job functions dictate the level of access, use, and disclosure of confidential information.
  • Perform other duties as requested by your immediate supervisor or the Chief Executive Officer.

Experience and Skills:

  • Associates Degree in finance related field required.
  • Experience with CONNECTIONS preferred
  • Familiarity with ACS, OCFS, OMRDD, OMH and other relevant municipal and state agencies preferred
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to work in a flexible team context.
  • Ability to work well with people from many cultures including recent immigrants, non-English speakers, and LGBTQ children.
  • Ability to handle confidential material in a responsible manner.
  • Willingness to travel within the 5 boroughs of New York City
  • Ability to travel to all agency locations as required.

HOURS PER WEEK: Exempt

  • Regular hours entail 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Must be flexible to meet program needs.
