Group Care Worker:
Troubled Youth/Tough Job.
Turnaround Youth/Terrific Job.

This job is not for everyone. For the right person, this job provides an extraordinary opportunity to change the lives of youth in our Residential Treatment Program.

The Opportunity: Provide direct care to youth in an individual cottage setting, serving as a mature mentor building a safe and secure environment; Work with a team of cottage staff and Treatment Team members to use approved supervision and behavior modification strategies to empower and encourage youth to grow.

Experience and Skills:

Minimum High School Diploma/GED, and valid NYS driver's license;
Full-time work schedule, all hours available, flexibility a must;
Will receive 120 hours of required training, including setting boundaries to maintain the needs of the youth served;
Be a role model for youth.

Offering:A competitive salary ranging from $13.10 to $19.10 (depending on education degree, intensive program differential and completion of 6 months). Overtime pay after 40 hours; Once eligible, benefits package includes vacation, paid holidays, personal and sick day accrual, medical, dental and vision plans, life and disability insurance, and more.
